David Platt has over three decades of experience in the technology and broadcasting industries. Currently serving as the Manager of NSW Technology Support at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since June 2014, David has also held roles including Service Coordinator and Broadcast Technologist. Prior to this, David was the Business Owner of Integer Systems Pty Ltd, specializing in technology consultation and software development. As a Director at Xeetec, David contributed to the design of solid-state digital video recorders for demanding environments, and as Digital Integration Manager at Syncrotech Group, provided technical sales and support to various media clients. David's earlier roles include Race Engineer at Roadchill Motorsport, where championship-winning cars were engineered, and Technical Director at SAE Group Australia, overseeing a large network of audio and video studios. David's foundational experience as a freelance audio engineer further complements a robust career, supported by a BA in Music Production from Southern Cross University.
