Jacob Greber

Jacob Greber is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and correspondence. Currently serving as the Chief Political Correspondent for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since July 2024, Jacob has previously held prominent positions at The Australian Financial Review, including Senior Correspondent in Canberra and United States Correspondent, where tenure spanned from April 2012 to July 2024. Earlier roles at Bloomberg LP from April 2004 to April 2012 included Australian Banking Reporter and Australian Economy Reporter, among others. Jacob's journalism career began at The Courier-Mail from 1996 to 2001 and was further developed at SWI swissinfo.ch from 2002 to 2004 as a Broadcast Journalist. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Politics and English from The Australian National University, completed in 1995.
