Jacob Shields

Jacob Shields has extensive experience in journalism and law, currently serving as Chief Of Staff at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since May 2020. Prior to ABC, Jacob held the same position at Network 10 from 2016 to May 2020 and worked as a Reporter for both Network 10 and PRIME7. Jacob began the career as a Freelance Reporter/Producer and also has legal experience as a Paralegal at Peter Shields Lawyers and a Legal Assistant at Norton Rose Fulbright. Educationally, Jacob earned a Double Degree in Law and Journalism from Queensland University of Technology between 2010 and 2015, following studies at St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace from 2005 to 2009.
