Jo E.

Jo E. has extensive experience in media and communication development, currently serving as the Head of International Development at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since November 2011. In this role, Jo E. leads initiatives aimed at supporting social and economic development in the Asia Pacific region through media and communication. Previously, Jo E. held positions as Manager of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships for ABC International Development, focusing on expanding media projects and fostering stakeholder relationships. Prior experience includes serving as a Mentor for the Women's Leadership Initiative with Australia Awards, Public Affairs/Communications Director at AusAID, and Chief of Staff/Media Advisor for the ACT Government. Jo E.'s career began in journalism, with various roles in broadcast and print media from 1990 to 1998.
