Laura V

Laura V is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and animal behavior, currently serving as a Sessional Teacher in Masters Education Science at Monash University since February 2024. Laura V also works as a Dog Behaviourist on the ABC series New Leash On Life and has been a Radio Presenter for Nine since May 2016. As the Director of Laura V Consulting since January 2011, Laura V specializes in Dognitive Therapy, which aims to enhance the relationship between dogs and their owners. Additionally, Laura V has authored several non-fiction books, including "Things Your Dog Wants You to Know," "Dognitive Therapy," and "The Rescue Dog," and served as an Education Officer and Animal Behaviourist at Zoos Victoria from September 2005 to April 2015. Educational qualifications include a Behaviour Medicine degree from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Monash University, and a Cert IV in Canine Behaviour and Training from the National Dog Trainers Federation.
