Liam Walsh

Liam Walsh is a seasoned journalist with a robust background in reporting and investigations. Starting a career at Mainichi Newspapers from 1998 to 2001 as a sub-editor and reporter, Liam moved on to The Courier-Mail where responsibilities as a reporter spanned from 2002 to 2019. In 2019, Liam joined The Australian Financial Review, focusing on investigations and company reporting until July 2024. Currently, Liam serves as an investigations reporter for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Journalism from The University of Queensland and certification in Japanese language proficiency at N2 level from the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test.
