Meredith Griffiths

Meredith Griffiths is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in multimedia reporting and production, currently serving as Deputy Planning Editor at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since January 2015. In this role, Meredith plays a pivotal part in ensuring that ABC News maintains its status as an agenda-setting service by delivering high-quality, innovative content across multiple platforms. Previous roles include field reporter covering a range of topics, as well as an investigative multiplatform reporter/producer who won a Kennedy Award for Outstanding Consumer Affairs Reporting. Meredith has held various positions at notable organizations such as the BBC, Associated Press, and has contributed significantly to ABC News since 2005. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communications and is pursuing a Master's degree in English Literature at the University of Sydney.
