Michael Nie

Michael Nie is a Senior Analytics Engineer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, specializing in data project delivery and analytic engineering solutions since April 2023. Michael also serves as a guest lecturer for courses at The University of Sydney Business School and Deakin University. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Consultant for Woolworths Group, Servian, St.George Bank, and Westpac Group, where responsibilities involved client engagement and end-to-end analytic engineering solutions. Prior to consulting, Michael worked as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst at A2B Australia Limited, focusing on machine learning and statistical modeling, and began a career as a Network Analyst at Telstra. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Sydney and a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Wollongong.
