Mitchell Turner

Mitchell Turner is an experienced sports commentator and producer currently working at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as a Sport Commentator & Host since July 2023. Previously served as a Producer & AFL Commentator at 6PR Perth and as a Sport Reporter at Nine, showcasing a strong background in sports journalism and broadcasting. Mitchell's earlier roles include casual reporting and producing at Radio 6PR Perth and commentary for Seven West Media. Alongside broadcasting, Mitchell has experience in educational environments as a Boarding House Supervisor and 2nd XVIII Football Coach at Hale School, where responsibilities included coordinating staff rosters and coaching students in Australian Rules Football. Currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma of Broadcasting at Edith Cowan University, Mitchell holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from The University of Western Australia and a Western Australia Certificate of Education from Hale School.
