Patrick Bell is an experienced multi-platform reporter at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since November 2017, specializing in ACT politics and coverage of significant inquiries such as the Board of Inquiry into the prosecution of Bruce Lehrmann. Previously, Patrick served as a news reporter and presenter for ABC New England North West Breakfast program. Experience includes roles as a casual content maker, adept in breaking news and utilizing social media. Prior to ABC, Patrick worked as a debating and public speaking adjudicator and trainer with The Arts Unit, providing training to students and teachers. Additionally, a private tutor at Tutoring for Excellence, Patrick offered support in English, History, and foreign languages. An internship at ABC Illawarra in 2017 provided early experience in news and radio production. Patrick graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts as a Dean's Scholar.
