Patrick Williams

Patrick Williams is an experienced media professional with a strong focus on social media and digital content production. Since May 2014, Patrick has served as the Social Media Lead at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), where responsibilities include overseeing the Queensland edition of the ABC News homepage and managing the @ABCBrisbane Twitter account with over 280,000 followers. Prior to this role, Patrick worked as a Digital Producer and reporter at Sunshine Coast Newspaper Company from November 2010 to April 2014, and as a Reporter at Tweed News Publishing Company between April 2008 and November 2010. Educationally, Patrick holds a degree in Communication, Journalism, and Communication and Media Studies from Griffith University, completed in 2008.
