Ruby Thomas

Ruby Thomas is an accomplished journalist and radio producer currently working at Capital Radio Network as a newsreader and journalist, where responsibilities include curating and recording radio news bulletins. Ruby also serves as a casual radio producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, pitching content ideas and organizing interviews. In addition to media roles, Ruby is Co-Editor of Curieux Magazine at the University of Canberra, overseeing content production. Prior experience includes positions with the National Disability Insurance Agency, focusing on Freedom of Information processes, and roles within various government departments, including ministerial correspondence and grants administration. Ruby is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media (Journalism) from the University of Canberra, expected to complete in December 2026.
