Suzanne Smith is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in media, literature, and academia. Currently serving as a Summer Fellow at The State Library of NSW for a major research project, Smith also produces, directs, writes, and reports for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Compass. Previously, a mentor and trainer for Internews, Smith has also contributed significantly to podcasts as a writer and editor for Audible, notably on the award-winning project #TheDeepestDive related to MH370. Smith's work includes screenwriting for a documentary on migratory shorebirds and producing a Missing Persons Investigation series. With a rich literary background, Smith authored the bestselling book "The Altar Boys," which garnered multiple award nominations. Smith's educational pursuits encompass a Doctorate of Creative Arts at Western Sydney University and a Grad Dip in Communications from UTS and UNSW.
