Tyson Shine

Tyson Shine is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Executive Producer for ABC News Breakfast at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since March 2018, overseeing a team responsible for the flagship morning TV program on Australia’s national broadcaster. Prior to this role, Tyson held positions as Supervising Producer at ABC, managing newsgathering across various platforms, and worked at Al Jazeera Media Network in multiple capacities, including Program Editor and Correspondent. Earlier career experiences include journalist roles at the ABC, Southern Cross Austereo, and Fairfax Media, along with foundational work as a Youth Exchange Student with Rotary International. Tyson holds a degree in Media, Video Production from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism from Swinburne University of Technology.
