T.A.O. was founded in 2011 by Vince Prezioso and Tony D'Aiuto when a very unique discount healthcare program with a "doctor-by-phone" feature was brought to their attention. The program was an ideal fit for entertainment and hospitality workers, freelancers, and especially those who couldn’t afford traditional insurance. However, they soon found out that the program was only available to large companies and organizations.

Vince and Tony immediately set out to change that and began to dedicate their time and resources to build a comprehensive plan for all consumers that could be purchased directly online. The T.A.O. membership program combines a variety of services in one unique plan for people to easily join, access and save money on a wide range of healthcare and lifestyle products and services.
