The Access Project
Chloe Thacker is an experienced professional in event management and educational support, currently serving as the Senior Events Officer at The Access Project since September 2022, where responsibilities include leading the Oxbridge Society and organizing online events for approximately 120 students. Previously, Chloe held the position of Senior Programme Officer at Explore Learning from January 2021 to July 2022, assisting in the management of a tuition center and overseeing a team of 20-25 tutors. Additional experience includes roles as a Digital Marketing Intern at Alpacr and a Steward at Oakengates Town Council, as well as tutoring in English and Maths. Chloe holds a Master's degree in Social Research from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Cardiff University.

The Access Project
The Access Project is an innovative education and social mobility charity that helps high potential young people from under-resourced backgrounds beat the odds and secure places at top universities. Our volunteers are trained and supported to be exceptional tutors who work with our students for an hour a week to raise their grades. In addition, a dedicated school-based staff member mentors the students so they have the knowledge and support to make strong university applications. Our results show this approach works. A young person who has participated in The Access Project’s programme is more than twice as likely to go to a top university than another student with the same academic track record and background.
