At The Active Experience® we are more than a counseling center as we take a holistic approach to your mental wellness. We don’t see our clients as a cluster of symptoms that need to be untangled or straightened. Rather, we see our clients as whole individuals who may be experiencing a rough patch. Regardless of your particular challenge, our goal remains the same. We want to remind you of who you were before you felt swallowed by your current challenges, and we want to help you reintroduce yourself to that person.

What Is an Active Experience?
An active experience is the adventurous condition that occurs when one is dynamically engaged in positively building one’s mental, physical, emotional, and/or spiritual health. It can be a moment filled with excitement, hesitation, and/or fear—or perhaps a mix of multiple emotions. An active experience is any incident that moves one beyond awareness into a state of action. If it feels like you’re “working” at something, chances are that you’re engaged in an active experience.
