Founded by attorney Jim W. Ko, Esq., a practitioner with decades of experience in intellectual property and AI law, The AI Rights Project operates on a vital principle: independence is at our core. We do not accept funding from Big AI companies or government agencies. Instead, our work is sustained by individuals, law firms, and mission-aligned partners who believe protecting rights in the algorithmic age is both a civic and professional responsibility.
