The American Leader is building a pro-democracy narrative that emphasizes problem-solving over politics. We believe that liberals and conservatives of any party who are committed to upholding the Constitution and aspirations articulated in the Declaration of Independence are likewise committed to finding solutions to the systemic problems that, when left unaddressed, weaken faith in our democratic institutions. Where they differ on the nature of those solutions, they seek compromises that often fortify the way forward.
