Hyukjin Kwon

Hyukjin Kwon is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in open-source software development. Currently, Hyukjin serves as an ASF member at The Apache Software Foundation and is a PMC member and Committer for Apache Spark since July 2017. At Databricks, Hyukjin has held the position of Staff Software Engineer and Techlead in OSS PySpark since April 2019. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Hortonworks and Mobigen Co. Ltd., as well as a Software Engineer at Mobigen Co. Ltd. and an intern at LG Electronics. Hyukjin holds a Master's degree in Information Science from UCL, completed in September 2013.
