Jarek Potiuk

Jarek Potiuk is an independent open-source contributor and advisor, currently serving as a committer and PMC member of Apache Airflow and as a member of the Apache Software Foundation, where they are involved in the Security Committee. With extensive experience in various fields including open-source, cloud, mobile, robotics, AI, and security, Jarek has held significant roles such as Principal Software Engineer at Polidea and CTO at multiple companies. They co-founded several initiatives, including the MCE Conference and Airflow Summit, and continue to contribute as a technical advisor for organizations like Google Cloud and Wealthsimple. Jarek holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Warsaw University of Technology.
