Kenneth Knowles is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as the PMC Chair for Apache Beam at The Apache Software Foundation, Kenneth has also held notable positions such as Staff Bug-creator at Google and Chief Technology Officer at ArborBridge. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Engineer at Dimagi and Platform Engineer at Inkling. Kenneth is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and possesses prior academic experience from the University of Oregon, where studies were completed between 2006 and 2008.
