Mickael Maison

Mickael Maison is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat since October 2021 and serves as an Apache Kafka Committer and chair of the PMC at The Apache Software Foundation since November 2019. Previous experience includes significant roles at IBM from July 2009 to October 2021, where Mickael contributed as an SME in the Event Streams team, engaged with the Kafka open source community, and developed various projects including the MQ Light Python Client. Additional experience includes involvement with Joomla! as a Development Working Group Member, internships at Ordnance Survey, and early development positions in Java. Mickael holds a BSc in Computer Science from Teesside University and a DUT in Computer Science from Université de Limoges.
