Szehon Ho

Szehon Ho is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in data processing and analytics technologies. Currently, Szehon serves as a member and committer of the Apache Iceberg and Apache Hive projects at The Apache Software Foundation, contributing to the development of open-source analytics solutions. At Apple, Szehon focuses on enhancing the performance and safety of the Apple Cloud Services Data Tables Team, particularly through improvements to the OSS Iceberg project. Previous roles include Staff Software Engineer at Criteo, leading the Hive service transition to Mesos, and Software Engineer at Cloudera, where Szehon was involved in Hive-on-Spark join development.
