Aquatarium is a place for discovery and inspiration in Brockville, Ontario, set in the heart of the 1000 Islands on the St. Lawrence River. We connect families and communities with the cultural, historical, and ecological significance of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River Watershed through immersive STEAM based education, conservation awareness, and inclusive, hands on experiences.

As a registered charity and licensed zoo, we blend education, conservation, and entertainment to create meaningful learning for visitors of all ages. Guests explore engaging exhibits, meet live animals cared for by qualified staff, and take part in interactive experiences that celebrate the region’s environment and heritage. Our galleries are designed for curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Aquatarium is a cultural landmark and a driver of regional tourism, welcoming visitors from across the province and beyond. Seasonal programs and special events keep experiences fresh and invite repeat visits.

Education is central to our purpose. We partner with schools, camps, and community groups to deliver hands on programs, field trips, workshops, and outreach that connect classroom concepts to real world science and local history. These experiences build confidence and a lasting love of learning.

We also champion conservation awareness. As a licensed zoological facility, we follow rigorous standards for animal care and collaborate with peer institutions to support healthy populations while sharing stories that inspire people to value and protect wildlife and waterways.

Aquatarium continues to grow with refreshed exhibits, new programs, and community partnerships that keep content dynamic and relevant. Alongside memorable visits, we offer flexible facility and event rentals in a distinctive waterfront setting. Aquatarium connects people to the river that shapes our communities and lives.
