Sam Robinson

Sam Robinson has a diverse work experience in product development, sourcing, and project management. Their most recent role was as the VP of Product Development at The Araca Group, starting in 2023. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Direct Sourcing Manager at Spin Master, where they focused on de-risking the supply chain and implementing sustainable practices. In 2020 to 2021, Sam founded Small Scale Sourcing, where they helped clients in different industries with sourcing, product development, logistics, and financial management. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Product Development & Sourcing Analyst at Pop! Promos, where they managed the product line, coordinated with factories in China, and traveled abroad for sourcing and negotiations. In 2016, they worked as a Product Design Co-Op at Hasbro, focusing on developing innovative products. In 2014 to 2015, they served as a Product Designer at Sencha Electronics, overseeing the design, prototyping, and production of a consumer display. From 2011 to 2013, Sam worked as a Project Manager at Starwood Distributors, where they implemented billing systems and managed Excel tools for tracking projects. Their early work experience includes being an Instructor at SMU Summer Youth from 2009 to 2011.

From 2013 to 2017, Sam Robinson attended Drexel University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial and Product Design.
