Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and business development. Currently serving as Managing Director and Regional Growth Leader at The Baldwin Group since September 2021, Ryan is responsible for the firm’s strategic planning in the southwest region of the United States. Ryan is also a member of the Bayou City Chapter of YPO since June 2022. Prior to this, Ryan held the position of Managing Director at Marsh | Wortham from August 2018 to September 2021, providing expertise in insurance broking and risk management. Ryan’s career also includes a long tenure as Managing Director at Wortham Insurance & Risk Management from July 2004 to September 2021 and a role as Regional Representative for the Texas Tech Alumni Association from 2001 to 2004. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management from the same institution. Memorial High School education was completed from 1994 to 1997.
