Dana Whyte

Dana Whyte is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media and public safety. Currently serving as the Communications Manager and Spokesperson for Michigan State University Police and Public Safety, Dana oversees the department’s website, social media, and internal communications while leading a rebranding initiative. Prior experience includes roles as a news reporter with WOOD TV8 and WLNS-TV, where Dana honed skills in live reporting, interviewing, and news package production. Additional experience as an instructor at The Barre Code highlights a strong ability to educate and connect with clients. Dana holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University.
