Jeff Browning

Jeff Browning is the current Chief Technology Officer at The Beans. Jeff has held this position for 3 years and 5 months. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Atrium for 7 months, a Full Stack Developer at Tetra for 10 months, and a Software Engineer at BloomBoard, Inc. for 1 year and 6 months. Jeff also spent a year as a Backend Software Engineer at StudyRoom, where they were responsible for the database, MVC, and API stack. Jeff is proficient with React and has spent a lot of time working with Postgresql, Django, and Python. Jeff also has experience with Mightyspring, where they interned as a Backend Engineer. In this role, they assisted in building a language-processing program with a functional programming paradigm to onboard users. Jeff also created graphical representations of onboarding metrics using the Scipy stack for admin tools. Additionally, they prototyped a database profiler to test the speed of various database calls in three different databases (Whiskeynode vs. Pymongo vs. Mongomock). Jeff also contributed to the Mongomock open-source project with the implementation of $aggregate and $group functionality to test database calls. Prior to their work in technology, Jeff was a Mathematics and Science Teacher at Fusion Academy for 1 year and 5 months and an LSAT Instructor at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions for 1 year and 2 months.

Jeff Browning has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Truman State University and a High School Diploma from Rock Bridge High School.
