The Befeler Group (formerly, The Citadel Group) is a vertically integrated real estate investment, development and management company intensely focused in creating value by purchasing, re-positioning and optimizing the performance of workforce multifamily real estate investments in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Founded in 2005 by George Befeler, The Befeler Group currently owns and manages a portfolio of over 500 apartment units and various other residential and commercial properties.  The company strives to acquire, improve and manage exceptional properties in established and up and coming neighborhoods for either eventual opportunistic disposition or for cash flow accompanied with long term appreciation.  

By leveraging its deeply rooted long-standing relationships with institutional lenders, banks, the real estate brokerage community and the legal industry, the The Befeler Group has been able to acquire exceptional properties primarily in off-market transactions.  The company continues to grow by continuing to acquire multifamily properties with specific focus on 25 to 200-unit apartment buildings.

The company is headquartered in its own office building in downtown of Coconut Grove, Florida and employs over 20 employees to manage its assets.
