Mel Rix

Mel Rix is an experienced finance and administration professional with a strong background in managing financial operations across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Finance Officer at The Benjamin Foundation since February 2022, Mel oversees the financial management of Bens Social Enterprises Ltd, including income reconciliation, invoice processing, and monthly financial reporting. Previously, Mel held positions such as Finance and Administration Manager at Wells Maltings Trust and Project Manager for a handmade ceramics business, showcasing expertise in financial management and project oversight. With additional roles in theatre administration and community arts management, Mel has accumulated extensive experience in budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Nottingham Trent University.
