Welcome to The Book Group. We are a full-service literary agency founded in 2015 by longtime friends and publishing industry veterans Julie Barer, Faye Bender, Brettne Bloom, and Elisabeth Weed. Since then we have expanded our agency to include agents Brenda Bowen, Jamie Carr, Sara Shandler, Sophie Cudd, and Caitlin O’Shaughnessy, as well as editorial assistants Brooke Nagler, Nora Mathews and Adi Vildorf, and office manager Erin Rice.
