Wonjun Chang

Wonjun Chang is a highly skilled professional specializing in the economic impacts of decarbonization. Currently serving as a Managing Energy Associate at The Brattle Group since January 2022, Wonjun Chang leads the development of advanced modeling tools, including the electricity sector capacity expansion model, gridSIM, and the economic impact assessment model, BEYOND. In addition to industry experience, Wonjun Chang teaches Microeconomics at the University of Maryland as an Adjunct Faculty member. Prior roles include Senior Consultant at NERA Economic Consulting and Senior Associate at Charles River Associates, where expertise in developing large-scale electricity sector models was applied. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.Sc. in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Mathematics & Economics from Northwestern University.
