The Buddha Project was found in 2023 by Venerable Losang Gendun, an esteemed international Buddhist teacher and Bhikshu who has served in the Tibetan tradition for the past 19 years. The Buddha Project is dedicated to making the profound teachings of Buddhism accessible to Western practitioners. Its mission is to guide meditators along a path of wisdom and compassion toward full awakening. Central to The Buddha Project is building a community of socially engaged practitioners who are committed to benefiting others through bodhichitta.

The Buddha Project supports the practitioners' journey through various projects:

In-Depth Meditation Training: A four-year online course covering Theravāda, Yogacara, Madhyamaka, and Tantra. 📚🧘🏽‍♂️

Retreats: Annual live and online retreats focused on Vipassana, Compassion, and Mahamudra. 🌅

Yogi Bootcamp: A year-long intensive meditation training with personalized guidance. 🧘🏻‍♀️💪

Buddha Research Project: Collaborative research exploring the effects of long-term meditation on perception, personal experience, and social relations. 🔬🧠

Burning Bush Project: Interfaith learning initiatives with contemplatives from diverse traditions. 🕊️🌍
