Matan Goren

Playwright at The Cameri Theatre

Matan Goren is an accomplished playwright and actor with extensive experience in the theater and television industry. Currently serving as a playwright at The Cameri Theatre and as an actor at shlofta Theater since October 2021, Matan also holds the position of Artistic Director at Duda comedy house since September 2015. Previous experience includes a role as a script writer for Sport5 - The Sports Channel, where responsibilities involved writing sketches for a late-night TV show, and a notable performance as Gildenstern in the play 'Hamlet' at Habima Theatre from December 2015 to May 2018. Matan Goren earned a degree in acting from Kibbutzim College between October 2012 and July 2015.

The Cameri Theatre

The Cameri Theatre of Tel Aviv, an Israel Prize winner, is a municipal theatre, founded in 1944. The Cameri Theatre is considered to be the largest and most prolific theatre in Israel. Every year the Cameri stages up to twelve new productions, together with twenty productions from previous seasons. The theatre is located in the center of Tel Aviv as part of the Tel Aviv Performance Arts Centre. All productions run in its 5 auditoriums.
