Mark James

Mark James is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the technology and defense sectors. Currently serving as the General Manager and Managing Director for Northern Europe at CAST since 2015, Mark oversees business operations across the Nordics, Benelux, UK, and Ireland, focusing on sales, partnerships, marketing, and professional services. Prior roles include General Manager & Managing Director at iGATE, where Mark led the Public Sector business in Europe, and Associate Partner at Defence Strategy & Solutions, providing strategic advice to European Governments. Mark's career also includes leadership positions at Microsoft, where responsibilities encompassed the Central Government and Defence sectors, and various roles at the Ministry of Defence, culminating as an Integrated Project Team Leader. Mark holds an MSc and BEng in Engineering from UCL and began professional training at the Royal Naval Engineering College.
