The Chaston Centre focuses on understanding what shapes human behaviour beneath the surface, and how this influences how individuals think, respond, and perform across life and work.

Our work brings together lived experience, research-informed insight, and practical application to support both individuals and organisations in gaining greater clarity around behaviour, decision-making, and performance.

We deliver two core bodies of work:

The Emotional Fingerprint of an Adoptee
Supporting adoptees, biological parents, adoptive families, and professionals to understand the lifelong emotional impact of early maternal separation and adoption.
This work provides a structured, adoption-informed lens across the lifespan and is recognised within the professional community, with Volume One of The Eight Essential Lessons approved by the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and endorsed by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

The Performance Alignment Pathway
Supporting leaders and organisations to identify and address the underlying patterns influencing behaviour and performance.
This structured program helps individuals move from awareness to alignment and application, enabling more effective leadership, clearer decision-making, and improved performance outcomes.

Across both areas, the focus remains the same:

Understanding what is shaping behaviour beneath the surface, so that meaningful and lasting change can occur.
