Luc Bas

Luc Bas is currently the Director of the Belgium Climate Risk Assessment Center, leading efforts to establish this pivotal institution. Luc previously served as the European Regional Director for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and has also held positions at the European Environment Agency and The Climate Group. With a strong background in sustainable development policies, Luc has represented governmental interests at various international platforms, including the UN Commission on Sustainable Development. In addition to these roles, Luc has been actively involved in advisory capacities with several organizations, promoting effective climate and environmental practices.
