Hansel Lynn's work experience begins in 1995 when they worked as a Consultant for Andersen Consulting. Hansel then moved on to Cambridge Technology Partners in 1997, where they became an Associate Director, specializing in datawarehousing. In 2000, they joined Mobilocity as a Senior Engagement Manager, focusing on managing and selling services contracts.

In 2002, Hansel co-founded Fantasy TeeVee, a site that implemented a fantasy sports model in the television medium. After leaving Fantasy TeeVee in 2004, they joined Nuance Communications as a Senior Manager, later taking on the role of Senior Manager in the Mobility Division.

Hansel's entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the owner of School of Rock Palo Alto in 2013. Hansel grew the school to over 100 students and successfully handed it off to a General Manager in 2018.

Finally, in 2014, Hansel founded theCoderSchool, a franchise that provides children with a welcoming environment to develop computer programming skills. As the Founder and CEO, they oversee the customized Code Coaching lessons taught by trained coaches.

Hansel Lynn attended Roosevelt High School from 1984 to 1988. Hansel then went on to Washington University in St. Louis, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree from 1988 to 1992. Their fields of study at the university included Computer Science and Economics.
