Mark Freedkin

Mark Freedkin has a diverse work experience spanning over 40 years. Mark has held various leadership roles in program and project management and technical director positions. Currently, they serve as the Southern California Regional Director & General Manager for theCoderSchool. In this role, Mark is responsible for managing the operational and financial aspects of the Irvine location, including staff hiring and management, customer satisfaction, advertising, and community outreach. Mark is also tasked with growing student enrollment and maintaining existing enrollments. Prior to their current position, Mark worked as the Technical Director of Program Management at VIZIO from 2013 to 2016. Mark has also held director-level roles at other technology companies, such as Active Storage, iStor Networks, Promise Technology, Silicon Image, Quantum, and Canon Information Systems. Mark began their career as an Industrial Engineer at Alcoa in 1977.

Mark Freedkin attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1973 to 1977, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering & Computer Science. In 2003, they also obtained a Certificate in Leadership and Management for Technical Professionals from the University of California, Irvine (Extension).
