Joana Martins is an accomplished professional in the field of food science and technology, currently serving as the Technical Lead at The Coconut Collab since December 2017, where previous roles included Technical Assistant and Acting Tech Lead. Prior to this, Joana worked at London Metropolitan University as a Final Project Researcher, focusing on the quality assessment of potato chips, and achieved third prize for innovative fruit jelly dessert development at Ecotrophelia UK 2017. Joana's career also includes technical assistance at SGS, where responsibilities encompassed sample conformity checks and food safety methodology validations, as well as conducting scientific research on organic compounds at Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. Joana holds a Master’s degree in Food Science from London Metropolitan University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Food Science and Technology, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from ISEL.
