Abby Mayer

Abby Mayer currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at The Commit Partnership, overseeing critical operational areas including fundraising, finance, communications, IT, and office operations to support the organization's goal of ensuring that over half of Dallas County young adults earn a living wage by 2040. Previous roles include Managing Director of Philanthropic Investments and Senior Director of Strategic Philanthropy, where Abby spearheaded efforts to enhance individual and foundation giving and launched the Texas Impact Network. With a solid background in education, including roles as Director of Philanthropy at Genesis Women's Shelter and Supervisor of Leadership Development at Dallas Independent School District, Abby has consistently focused on building relationships, increasing funding sources, and supporting organizational missions. Abby holds an M.B.A. in Management from SMU Cox School of Business and a B.A. in English Language and Literature, Education from Angelo State University.
