Accacia Dickerson

Accacia Dickerson, M.A., currently serves as the Philanthropic Investments Development Manager at The Commit Partnership since March 2024. Previously, Accacia was the Development Manager at Forward Justice, where responsibilities included seeking and reporting on grants for a $3.7 million budget, along with managing donor research and outreach. Accacia also held roles as a Grants and Giving Associate, Campaign Associate at United Way of Central Carolinas, and Leasing Consultant at 10 Federal Property Management. Internships with Church World Service, Democracy NC, and The Borgen Project provided valuable experience in fundraising, research, and advocacy. Accacia holds a Master of Arts in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, a Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and African-American/Black Studies, all from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
