Dash Weerasinghe

Dash Weerasinghe currently serves as the Managing Director of Analytics & Insights at The Commit Partnership, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this, Dash spent 15 years at Plano ISD, advancing from Executive Director of Assessment and Accountability to Senior Executive Director of Assessment, Research, and Program Evaluation, where responsibilities included managing school transformation efforts, performance reporting, and district-wide assessment systems. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Research and Data Analytics at Dallas ISD, focusing on research programs for school improvement and data management, and as a Teaching and Research Fellow at Texas Tech University, where involvement included grant-funded research and teaching mathematics and statistics. Dash holds a PhD in Mathematics and Statistics, an MS in Applied Mathematics, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
