Gene Davis

Gene Davis serves as the Managing Director of Shared Services at The Commit Partnership, overseeing Communications, Operation Services, and IT departments since July 2022. Previously, Gene held multiple leadership roles within the Dallas Independent School District, culminating as the Executive Director of Communication Services, where a team of 35 was managed to enhance social media, digital marketing, and internal communications from February 2015 to July 2022. Gene's career also includes founding a donation-based early childhood music education program, serving as Central Austin Editor for Community Impact Newspaper, and various positions in journalism including reporter and intern roles. Gene holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder.
