If we had to distill our purpose into its simplest essence, it would be two words:

BECOMING HUMAN

We are born Homo sapiens. But that does not mean we become truly human — our best, most humane selves. The world has no shortage of inhumanity. So there is work to do.

This is what CGC exists for.

The mission IS the model. The model IS the mission.

Most organizations write a mission statement because an accreditation cycle demands it. The words go on a wall. Then what?

We flipped that.

One question drives everything: "What kind of humans are we building?"

Our answer: 6 Human Capacities. Every learner should leave school as 
balanced (purposeful), 
respectful (fair), 
rational (curious), 
contributing (responsible), 
innovative (playful), and 
compelling (truthful).

Not platitudes. Teachable, assessable human qualities.

Our framework: 4 Ecosystem Elements — CULTURE, CURRICULUM, COMMUNITY, CONTEXT.

At the heart sits our Learning Definition: the 3 Cs. Conceptual (good with ideas), Competency (good with skills), Character (good people). All three. Every child.

Our tools: Changemaker Challenge Planner (students solve real-world problems using human-centered design). 3-Way Learning Modules — one module, three versions: teacher-facing, learner-facing, and parent-facing.

Our guiding principle: "Clarity and common sense over complexity and confusion."

We are a non-profit, global community of sense-makers, innovators, and educators. No top-down mandates. No isolated initiatives.

Now in our 12th year, we continue the infinite game of building human capacity.
