Chris Perrin

Chris Perrin has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Chris currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at The Container Store, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they served as an IS Sr Infrastructure Engineer at The Container Store from July 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining The Container Store, Chris worked at Pier 1 Imports as an Infrastructure Architect from April 2013 to July 2020. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks such as escalation, implementation, and support engineering.

Chris also has experience working at Clifford Chance LLP as a Windows Integration Engineer from September 2004 to March 2013. Their responsibilities at Clifford Chance LLP included investigating and engineering new solutions, planning projects, and designing and implementing solutions. Chris also provided support for Microsoft Infrastructure, Virtual Infrastructure, and SAN connectivity.

Prior to their tenure at Clifford Chance LLP, Chris worked at Savvis as a TAC Engineer from October 2003 to September 2004 and as a Technical Service Representative from May 2003 to October 2003. Chris also gained experience working at Intel Corporation - Intel Online Services, where they held various positions such as Technical Service Representative, Platform Specialist, and Operations Analyst between May 2000 and May 2003.

Chris's career began at London Electricity as an IT and Systems Graduate Trainee from August 1998 to May 2000. During this time, they were involved in the day-to-day support and development of various systems, including Novell Netware Installation and Administration.

Chris Perrin obtained a Bsc (Hons) 2.1 degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Brunel University between 1994 and 1998. Chris also earned G.C.S.E qualifications from Westminster City between 1988 and 1992. Chris has additional certifications including VMware Certified Professional 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in 2017, VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in 2016, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 Charter Member from Microsoft in 2012, VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 from VMware in 2012, VMware Certified Professional 3 in 2009, and several Microsoft certifications for various specialties.
