Rob Garfat

Rob Garfat has extensive experience in loss prevention, currently serving as the Loss Prevention Manager at The Container Store since January 2005, where responsibilities include managing loss prevention across stores, the corporate office, and distribution centers while implementing proactive measures to reduce loss and maintain employee morale. Prior to this role, Rob spent nearly 20 years at Mervyn's Department Stores, beginning as a Store Investigator and advancing to Field Assets Protection Team Leader, where leadership of a team of 14 Store Investigators resulted in significant improvements in productivity and shrink. Rob holds two years of education from the University of North Texas with a focus on Computer Science and General Studies, achieving a 3.0 average.
