Established in 1886, The Converse Home has provided a gracious home to seniors for over 125 years.  We are proud of our history as one of the longest operating senior communities in Vermont and our reputation for personalized care and service.

Residents in our assisted living community have the option of one-bedroom and studio apartments or a single room.  Our beautifully landscaped grounds include flower and vegetable gardens, a gazebo and other areas for enjoying the outdoors.

We also have a specially designed Alzheimer's community and programs, Gardenview, for those with Alzheimer's disease or other types of dementia.  

Our monthly rates include a range of services and amenities that allow our residents to be as independent as possible in a supportive and caring environment.

The Converse Home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Burlington, minutes away from the many activities and cultural offerings of the city and the University of Vermont Medical Center.
