Counter Punch Youth Academy (CPYA) is a trauma-informed youth development organization that uses the martial art of non-contact Olympic-style boxing training as a tool to engage students, equip educators, and inspire communities.

At CPYA, we believe every young person deserves a fighting chance not just in the ring, but in life. We serve youth across the nation including those impacted by trauma, academic challenges, and justice involvement, as well as neurodiverse students with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences.

Through a blend of mentorship, social-emotional learning (SEL), life skills, and movement-based enrichment, we’re helping students build confidence, discipline, and leadership while improving attendance, behavior, and classroom engagement.

We also support educators and school staff with interactive professional development workshops designed to reduce stress, build trust, and strengthen school culture. When adults are empowered, students thrive.
